R.E.A.P. Resident Empowerment and Achievement  Program
The goal of the Resident Empowerment and Achievement Program (REAP) is to
engage the Mercy Haven participants in social, recreational, educational and
vocational opportunities. By receiving a monthly calendar of events, Mercy Haven
participants are invited to take part in the programs offered. Transportation is
provided for those who wish to join. REAP offers the participants a book club,
ceramics classes, meditation, poetry, painting, employment opportunities and
social events. Currently, the employment opportunities include paid mailings
throughout the year. In an ongoing effort to provide new programs and increased
participation, new resources for funding and volunteerism are regularly explored.
