| Why do I work at Mercy Haven? I always have a great time! In 1994, I joined Mercy Haven through an ad in the local newspaper. I interviewed with S. Pat and S. Kathy in a tiny office. They spoke to me about expanding their efforts, and "WOW” the agency has grown. How many people can say they really enjoy going to work? I can. The residents are so much fun. I have been working per diem with the agency for over 10 years and have found the Human Resource Department to be very flexible. With two children at home, the scheduling works perfectly. Even though I work Per Diem, many of the residents recognize me and are chatty even when I just stop by. I guess they enjoy having me around, too. -Barbara R., Direct Care Counselor |
