Most proud of receiving her Masters in Social Work and spending
her life in a variety of wonderful and rewarding professional
experiences with children and adults, S. Francene Horan has
been associated with Mercy Haven since its very beginning, and
now serves as the Board of Directors' secretary. Having had many
memorable experiences with MH, S. Francene explains that the
most recent was when a group of 30 women from the United
Nations paid a visit to the agency to learn more about Mercy
Haven's programs and services (click here for more information).
Born and raised in Hollis, NY, Horan believes that the agency will
continue to respond to the needs of the poor, the homeless, and
the mentally ill in whatever way help is needed for the less
fortunate in our community.
