Leonard Saltzman
Leonard Saltzman joined Mercy Haven because of his interest
in making a difference in the lives of mentally ill homeless
persons. What Saltzman enjoys most about being a part of the
Board of Directors is that he can participate in policy-making
discussions regarding programming and new ventures. Proud
father, grandfather and great grandfather, Saltzman explains
that his most memorable experience with Mercy Haven was
when he visited the
three community residences for the first
time in 1990. To him, it showed exactly how deeply and clearly
MH cares for its mentally ill, homeless residents. Not only
does he believe that Mercy Haven will continue its high level of
dedication, commitment, concern and caring into the future, he
also feels that the range activities and services will expand to
other populations in need.
