Born and raised in Mt. Kisco, New York, Joseph Singleton is now entering his 50th year in the field of education by serving as a consultant to the Shoreham-Wading River Central School District. Previously serving as a specialist in all aspects of School Business Affairs, Singleton has served as a teacher, program administrator, Assistant Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent and Interim Superintendent in many districts. He joined Mercy Haven's mission to "help some of our most underserved residents [of Long Island] who have been by-passed by government and society." Proud husband, father and grandfather, Singleton has high hopes that in the future Mercy Haven will expand its vocational training and workshops to reach more and more persons in need.
