"I am flattered that I am part of this wonderful organization," states Gloria Ciolli, one of Mercy Haven's newest Board Members. A born and raised New Yorker, Ciolli owns the Mediation and Collaborative Action Group of Melville, where she "creates compromise out of chaos" in helping to resolve family and business disputes. "I am a social worker by choice and a mediator by conviction," she shares. Her most memorable moments with Mercy Haven so far have been meeting with Sister Pat, touring our community residences and attending an evening of insight and sharing with MH's Breakthrough Program.
| Mercy Haven's mission is to acknowledge the dignity and potential of people who are homeless, living with mental illness or living in poverty by providing housing, advocacy, education and life skills development. |
