Born and raised in Glen Cove, NY, Deborah Kendric has had a
long history working with Mercy Haven. Vice President and
Director of Corporate Communications for State Bank of Long
Island, Kendric holds a vast amount of knowledge in the areas
of internal communications, public relations, investor relations,
and community relations functions. Proud mother of Sarah and
Anthony, Kendric feels that Mercy Haven’s work is becoming
more important than ever. “I see the organization continuing its
work in caring for the homeless and mentally ill,” she says.

strongly in its mission, and she respects and admires Sister
Pat’s leadership of this organization.
